The childhood memories of Indian classical tunes, the sounds of drums, beautiful girls dressed up for various Dance forms-all adjacent to my home in a music school connected my chord of Art as Kathak Dance and Painting and now I dedicate it to charitable purposes also. This artistic journey began at the age of 15 years with my first stage show at ISKCON Temple’s auditorium, a group kathak dance presentation under Guru Miss Ruby’s guidance. Alongside fellow dancers, I performed for the show, earning appreciation from artists and musicians.
Subsequent performances include :
- Jalsa 1, a charity stage show at Prachin Kala Kendra, Delhi, under Guru gangwani ji and Guru Hoshiarpur ji’s mentorship,
- Jalsa 2, consecutive year, with bringing joy and appreciation from attendees.
My Kathak performances aim to:
- Preserve India’s rich cultural heritage
- Empower women and skill education through art and education
- Support charitable causes
